Kings Fall 3-1 Against Colorado - Game Recap

The Kings came up short Tuesday against the Avalanche, falling 3-1. Bettors who backed the Avalanche were rewarded as +105 underdogs at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 5. P.A. Parenteau, David Jones, and Gabriel Landeskog each scored for the Avalanche in the victory. Landeskog opened the scoring for Colorado, finding the back of the net at 1:00 of the third period. The goal was assisted by Jan Hejda and Matt Duchene. Semyon Varlamov turned in a 28-save effort for the Avalanche. Los Angeles got a goal from Kyle Clifford in the loss, but it wasn't enough. Los Angeles lost the shots on goal battle to Colorado by a margin of 31-29. Next game, Colorado takes its act home to face Columbus looking for another win. For Los Angeles, they head on the road to face Edmonton.
