Default gotta love ring tables

I usually play tourneys but my luck hasn't been to good latley so i decided to play a 5/10c table on AP and i sat down with $5 and after about 2hrs i was up to $50!! so i decided to quit while i was ahead but it goes to show how chip power really helps, i was constantly bullying players and everyone just seemed to be handing there chips to me i just had to share this even though its not much i felt pretty good considering ring tables take a much different strategy and i haven't got much experience in them

For me, ring tables are much more profitable on a per table per hour basis, but I find tournaments much more enjoyable. Since poker is a hobby, I play a lot more tournaments than ring games, probably over 90% of my hours. So speaking only for myself, I don't "gotta love ring tables"

$22.50 an hour is an EXCELLENT wage IMO for sitting on you rear clicking a mouse

Good for you!

I am also more of a tourney player. I have had some success with the ring games but always end up losing what I've earned by getting outdrawn on the damn river. I make a point to play much tighter in ring games but I seem to run in to a lot of loose players no matter which site I am on. The bad part is that I play differently than I do in tourneys but realize after I've folded a hand I would usually hang on to, that I would have won the pot. I feel a lot less pressure with the tourneys than I do with ring games.

Arsenal28...

The Reason You Play Differently In Ring Games As Opposed To Tourney's
Is A Simple Fact That Most People Trend To Do.....

In A Tourney Your Playing With ( UNITS ),
Which You Have The Feeling That You Can Simply Get Them Back.

In A Ring Game Each Bet Is With ( CHIPS ) Real $$$,
Which Is Always Hard To Let Go When Your Uncertain With Your Hand...
