How much $ per unit?

I'm only placing $1 bets, but it feels like I am playing the lotto. What are some good methods for an beginning to use making his bets? I had NYI over buffalo this afternoon. Detroit -1.5 (+210), also Washington(-130).

My play per unit is whatever you use. For example I am new to hockey so its only 25 bucks but so everyone of my units is $25, but yours may be different like $1. I just keep track to see how well I will do!

Like is said I am new to hockey (betting) so my picks are just gut and some little research but would like to hear if you have any!

cool, I guess that makes you a highroller. I don't have any methods, but I like the idea of making money off sports, never really been a fan of researching, but at least it's something interesting to research. I'm getting a feel for it, and maybe I'll go up to 2 units per bet if I think I'm on a hot streak. Will be following the picks you are posting more closely now that you have shown your a winner early.thnks
