Finally a winning Monday Night as I had a push on Green Bay and a win with the over. 10.5 was available at one point on Monday and I should have grabbed it. I waited and could only get 10 and it is rare that I buy points. Oh well, I am still thrilled with my nfl season this year.


Thursday Night Football

Cincinnati -3 vs Baltimore (strong play)……………The nfl is a crazy league, expect the unexpected. Baltimore looked great last week, but they were at home and they beat the Steelers…no big deal. I picked the bengals to at least go to the Superbowl this year and they are finally now playing like they are capable of. Baltimore not the same team on the road. I think there is a ton of value taking the bengals at home only laying three, I am on it. Baltimore also due for a loss while they bengals are due for a winning streak. I like this one.



Steelers -7 vs Tampa Bay (best bet)……….There is no way the steelers are this bad. They are due to totally destroy somebody. I think Tampa Bay is going to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Steelers are going to show no mercy this week in front of the home folks.

Jacksonville +1.5 vs Miami (best bet)………I am a dolphins fan, and I cannot believe I am going against them this week, but I am. A few weeks ago everybody said Miami sucked. Now people are expecting them to win. Watch out, I have a bad feeling about this game. If Ronnie Brown does not play, and I don’t think he will, the fish are going to struggle. I think Joey Harrington had a great game at Detroit and he might have a bit of a let down this week. I think with no running game he will be forced to throw and make a couple of mistakes. As badly as I want my Dolphins to win, I don’t think they will. If they are so good, and so hot all of a sudden, then why are they only 1.5 points favs at home. Jacksonville surprisingly easy this week.


Giants +3.5 vs Dallas (strong play)………..You would have to be crazy to take the Giants this week. It looks like you could put a million dollars on the Cowboys. They are just beating everybody, while the Giants cannot win and keep finding ways to lose. Anytime you find a game this obvious, it almost always loses. I am on the Giants for no other reason than I cannot think of one reason to take them.

St Louis -6.5 vs Arizona (regular play)……….I lost going against Arizona last week, but they were lucky. Won’t happen this week. St Louis is another team that is due to put it all together and blow somebody out and it will be Arizona this week. I love this line being under 7. St Louis by at least seven in this one.

Detroit +13.5 vs New England (regular play)………..I am taking Detroit for the same reasons I took the Giants…I cannot find a reason to take them. Pats playing pretty decent football beating the bears last week, while Detroit looked pathetic losing on Thanksgiving to Miami. New England can name this score. Then again, this is the NFL. Watch and see if the pats don’t sleepwalk through this game and barely win.

Oakland -3 vs Houston (regular play)………….Raiders finally have a game they can win this week. Their defense is playing great ball and sooner or later their offense is going to score some points. I have to give the raiders some credit for still playing hard this season. It all pays off in a win this week. It is also hard to take a team like Houston on the road only getting a field goal. Raiders finally get a W.


OPINIONS (just for fun, no units)



Tennessee +7.5 vs Indianapolis…………Tennessee sneaking under the radar this year playing better than most people thought. Nice home doggie.

Buffalo +6 vs San Diego………Chargers have been awefully close to losing recently…it might be at Buffalo this week where they get their loss. Another nice home dog here.

Denver -3 vs Seattle………..The Sunday night game. Denver still has a great defense at home and now that Jake the Snake is riding the bench, this team might score some points. Denver never an easy place to win to begin with, so getting them and only laying three is a pretty sweet deal.
