Default Titans will trade McNair to Ravens

The Associated Press
Wednesday, June 7, 2006; 2:33 PM
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans ended their stalemate with quarterback Steve McNair on Wednesday and traded the former MVP to the Baltimore Ravens pending a physical.
"We have granted permission to Baltimore to give Steve McNair a physical, which we expect to take place in the next 24 hours," the team said in a statement.

Read this earlier. Its about time the two went their opposite ways. I was tired of hearing about their drama.

With a healthy Mcnair I think there is a new contender in the AFC.

I have to agree that if Mcnair stays healthy the Ravens will hgave a good year. I think it will be easier for him to stay healthy on a team with a great backfield like this and a solid, but aging defence.

I don't know what Billick ever saw in Boller. For me, T.O. was exactly correct when he refused to play for Baltimore. They would need to sign receivers with arms 20-foot long to win with Boller. With a healthy McNair, the Ravens play deeply into January.
