| Jags can pull the upset Okay I am a Pats fan, but if anyone is in prime shape to pull the upset this week it's the Jags.
The Pats are not healthy and have injured stars with Brady, Dillon, and Bruschi and if they play the will be less than 100%. The Jags play great defnse and also play decent on the road....
This game will be closer than most think, and I will be taking the points and the ML...

| They dont play that decent on the road, and I dont think they will be decent in Foxboro either. Warm weather team, cold weather setting, good defense, poor offense with questionable quarterback situation =Patriots stick it to em and keep chugging along......and I'm somewhat of a Jags fan.
Maybe this is just both of us picking the team we dont want to win and giving reasons why our teams are going to blow it. Pessimists lol.
Anyhow, can't wait for this weekend. |

| JT maybe you can confirm this. Word is the pats lost against Miami so they could face the jags. If they had won they would have played pittsburgh..Do you think any truth in this???

| brs14ku,
Althoughthe teams they played on the road were not always impressive, I would have to disagree with what you said about them not being decent on the road.....6-2 thi syear and lost to the Colts 10-3 and beat teh Steelers in one of the toughest places to play....I am also not big on that cold weather vs warm teams....
maj69er,
Yes I do think there is truth to this...kind of...tehy may have played in the end, but letr's face it when you have a 43 yr old QB dropkicking the ball you are not trying to win a game...

| Didnt realize until just now the line was +8 to the Jags. I will be taking the points too. That just seems like way to many. |

| Thanks JT. If i had known the pats were going to mess around I wouldnt have stuck em in a parlay....They were the last leg of it......I thought they would have been more professional. Always good to go into the play offs with a win....

| ON PAPER THE JAGS DO LOOK BETTER.THE ONLY THING THAT CONCERNS ME IS THAT I THINK THEY MAXED OUT AT HOME AND ON THE ROAD.SCORING 40 AT HOME AND 38 ON THE ROAD.THE PATS BEAT MIAMI AT HOME AND LOST TO THEM ON THEIR TURFF.IT IS HARD TO WIN TWICE IN THE DIVISION.PATS WERE LOOKING AHEAD TO THE JAGS AND MY COMPUTER PROGRAM HAS THE PATS BEING 15 POINTS BETTER THAN THE JAGS.PATS ARE COMING INTO FORM.PUTTING THE GAME AT JAGS 26 PATS 41.THATS MY STORY AND IM STICKING TO IT."BUT WHAT DO I KNOW"? I AM DOWN 100 UNITS.
PATS-8 5 UNITS
PATS BY 15 5 UNITS
JAGS 26
PATS 41 5 UNITS |

| Hammer,
you could be right!! I am looking at teh Jags defense as the main culprit in this game not the offense, although I don't see the two point difference, being a big one.

| I hear ya JT.It is not a game that I can bet the farm on thats for sure!!and 26 to 41 maybe a high number.By 15, could land on 28 to 13 which I just added 1 unit.As far as the Pats loosing to Miami is not a big deal. The colts, in the division, are only 50%,the best team on the planet. The Pats are playing two consecutive home games, not covering on the first game,to me,puts them in a good spot to cover agaisnt the Jags.Just an opinion. And everytime I hear that the Pats are injured and doubtfull who will play, they wax someone.A good example is last year on the road when the played the Lambs, they scored 41 points, and this year when the played Buff on the road.Just an observation. |

| I am still liking the Jags here and I wish they would have stayed with Garrard but again it's the defense I am leaning toward keeping me within this number anyway, so won't complain...
