okay so the Super Bowl is easily my favorite holiday. as much as i complain about "the hype" i do love the hype of the football aspect and the actual game. i'm so excited for the game.
huge snowstorm fri-sat might put a damper on the turnout for our 10th annual party, but hopefully a few will make it.

we usually do city-related food themes. we ordered real Chicago pizza shipped from chi-town when the bears were in it. tried to make real homemade Primanti's sandwiches for the steelers.... etc. this week we're doing jambalaya for N.O., and my boy who used to live there is bringing up some catfish. (screw indy, they dont have any really great food they're famous for.)

anyway... yea. superbowl week. love it.

oh yeah I am JACKED! Just finishing up my work so I can take a snow day tomorrow and I have Monday off so let the haze begin!!!

I can't wait either TLF! Carrying on my tradition of going to my favorite bar Mr. G's right down the road with my buddys...The GF is joining for this one. Think she'll be alright cuz she can almost out drink me! Anyways, gotta get the ultimate nachos and lots of pitchers of Sierra Nevada...My buddy's wedding is Sat and the SB is Sunday. God have mercy on my poor liver!! Have fun everybody, should be a great game!

i really like the saints to come away with the win. If not , how many times has payton come away with a last quarter controlled drive for a field goal. A lot. Im going saints/over. Good luck to all.

okay so i made the jambalaya on saturday so it would be soaked in and more flavorful for sunday. wifey made an awesome crab dip.
we got HAMMERED with snow fri.nite/saturday... all of our friends called out and couldn't come over. that was a bummer but i was still psyched to eat and watch the game.
then.
the CABLE WENT OUT.
it had been on and fine all weekend, but then went out sunday well after the snow had stopped (sat).
worst. nightmare. ever.

ended up bringing the food to a friend's house and watched the game so alls well that ends well and was glad to see the Saints win.

will watch the wed.nite replay on NFL Network.
