Perhaps the thing that stands out most right now is the fact that the Giants will be without a couple of the starting wide receivers that helped make them the most dominant team in the NFC. Toomer and Burress should always be remembered as one of the most feared tandems the franchise has ever had. The Giants running game will have more of an uphill battle now that opponents will be able to load up the box. I am not saying that their second string receivers aren't ready to step up, although it obviously has the teams upper management in a state of emergency trying to fill the holes, but those back-ups that will be starting have only rookies to relieve them. That's a problem.

Smith and Hixon should be a good tadem, both have 3+ years experience and could be more explosive then Toomer and Burress were but can either make the big catch remains to be seen.

If Sinorice Moss can step up for the 3rd spot working in the rookies wont be too tough
