Stop me if you heard this one before, just cause a game is on prime-time doen't mean there is a play.

This just in, the Jets are bad, and not the way Run DMC used it, but bad meaning bad. How bad? How about 5-13 last season and this. Seriously, they just lost to a Matt Cassel led Pats team that got crushed by the Fins. Speaking of the Fins, without playing them the Jets drop to 2-13. Wow, that is bad. Also without playing that Miami team, NYJets are 0-7 on the road being outscored by an average of 25-13. This is a team that was a DD dog 3 times LY.

Favre is an upgrade at QB we guess, but which is the real Brett? The one Packers' fans begged to retire for 2 or 3 years or the one they begged not to retire after last year? Still don't know just how deep into the playbook Brett is and how vanilla the offense will be.

On the flip side, we constantly complain about Rivers costing Chargers games and possibly a Superbowl trip. But he is lighting it up this early season. If Jets have trouble slowing down Rivers, then it should matter little if Sproles or LT is hitting the holes. Wow, didn't ever think we would write a line like that. Speaking of LT, don't care what injury report says, they are 0-2, it's MNF and a loss does extreme damage to the playoff dreams, he will play and be a factor.

MVP for San Diego tonight should be Gates.

And let us not forget home field advantage in this one. Favre and company will be in a loud, hostile environment with fans every bit as hungry for a win as the players are. Let us not forget this team lost on the last play of the game against Carolina and we all saw the Denver call.

San Diego suffering most from not getting pressure on the QB, with only one sack in two games. However, Favre has gone down 5 times this year. Washington is a good back, but he still misses some blitz pick-ups. Expect a more agressive defense tonight for Chargers, we are banking on it.

We think this line should be at 13, say it with me kids....value.
