Default Early look

Hall of Fame Game Canton, Ohio
Redskins -5 (32) Indianapolis

They have to be kidding me. Just because Manning is out, the line moves 10+ points in the other direction? Wrong favorite here no matter who is at QB. This is still a football game and the second string Colts are a better team than the starting Redskins. Take the points with confidence.

WOW just saw that. Manning never plays more than 1-2 series anyway. There has to be another reason

One more week and we'll be ready to start handicapping for real. I have some more technical angles based on the lines for upcoming week one games. Right now I like all of these pointspreads for week one games.

All plays pending gameday information.

at Canton - Colts +5.5 over Washington

New York Giants +3 at Detroit Lions

at Chicago Bears -3.5 over Kansas City

New Orleans Saints +3 at Arizona Cards

at Pittsburgh Steelers -3 over Philadelphia

Seattle Seahawks +3 at Minnesota Vikings

at Oakland Raiders -3 over San Francisco

Atlanta Falcons +6 at Jacksonville Jaguars

at Tennessee Titans -3 over St. Louis Rams

Another thing that is very strange about the week one preseason lines this year is that 12/15 games the point total is at or below 35, compared to 6/17 last year, 8/15 in 2006 etc.

You could probably make a little money betting the over on every game.

I still think week 1 is a crap shoot. Last year I used a psychic to get 10 out of 16 games right. I should probably call her this year again.

The NFL preseason is the most logical betting proposition of the entire year. Where else do you have as much insight to coaches games plans? You're not thinking if you say it's a crap shoot.

Horse racing is a fixed crap shoot.

The most successful betting system in team sports is the triple trend connection system. Information + suggestive pointspread + injury report trend = an uncommon winning percentage. Preseason NFL games are the "Queen Marys" of information available to the bettor.

I have omitted New Orleans and Tennessee from the list.

As a Canton Native, and have watched these games all my life, I agree Colts should have no problem in this game. Take the point!!!
