NEW YORK July 9th, 2008 - Ever since he announced his retirement speculation has swirled regarding whether Brett Favre would actually stay retired. Fans and experts alike found it hard to believe given the sheer joy he played the game with and the fact that he had a remarkable year last season.

I dont see how the Packers dont let him comeback if he wants. The NFL is a now sport, Rodgers may not be ready and going forward with him might not bring the Packers back to the playoffs and in another year there maybe players gone, older, hurt etc. I just think in the NFL you cant look ahead if you have an oppurtunity like this

i agree that the packers should let him come back and play with the packers. We had doubt that he could still play coming into last year but he answered all of the criticism with quality play of a star quarterback. I just do not see why the packers do not want a hall of fame quarterback on their roster but instead they want to play Aaron Rogers a new quarterback with very little experience.
