Ride the train MNF... fellas, the Pats are for real (as are the 'Boys). Ride the train until it comes off the tracks for a week, then get back on it!!
Bengals are averaging 31.7 pts, 402 total yds, 257.7 pass yds, and 145.0 rush yds on defense after having played the offensive powerhouse like Seattle, Cleveland, and Baltimore (these teams blow by the way). Rudi Johnson is out, no run game.
The Pats are no. 1 in total offense and total defense and have played nobody also. Check out their Pass defense statistics though. They are No.2 overall statistically and are giving up only 5.9 yards per pass play (which Cinci will have to do 65% of their offense plays). the Pats have only given up 3 pass plays of over 20+ yards and 0 pass plays of over 40+ yards. It's the same story for the rush defense of the Pats also, 0 rush plays over 20+ yards and 0 rush plays over 40+ yards given up (they faced LT remember).
When we think of the Bengals we think ocho cinco and housh burning a 65 yard bomb. Defensive lapses don't happen with the Patriots, they are too smart and too well coached. Jesus, after crunching these numbers I am leaning to the under now (especially with the Patriouts 3rd NFL highest 35.7 rush attempts a game).
this is a tough one kiddies.... Pats -7.5
Over 54
i figure if the Pat's can't win by the spread, the over will hit. |
