 Don't overlook.....
Don't overlook this team from Nevada tonight. Miami has not shown me that they are the same team offensively that they have been in the past few years. Their defense has kept the last few games close. Nevada has a high powered offense and a very stingy defense when they feel like playing, and tonight I think they will. A few mistakes by Miami and this game could end up quite interesting. Miami has the better players, but I never overlook a Western Athletic Conference team. The stingy 2.2 yards per carry that Miami gives up will pose a problem for a Nevada team that averages 4.5 or better on the ground. That should force Nevada to turn to their passing game, which has scored 22 TDs through the air. They rushed for another 26 TDs to Miami's 13. Miami has only given up 8 TDs through the air, but Virginia Tech had only given up 5 until last nights game. Both teams are vulnerable to the sack, but I do like Nevada plus the points. Everybody and their relatives are on Miami, and it is a bold statement for me to take Nevada, but anything can surely happen in these bowl games, as we have seen already. The hype is tremendous.
