Miami Ohio +4 vs Bowling Green

Yes the Hawks are 1-9 and are a down this year instead of their usual spot in the top of the MAC standings, but there is sufficient enough evidence that back a Miami cover here tonight. The fact they are playing a MAC game helps us here. Three of its 5 MAC defeats have been by only a FG, with another by just 2 points! Since Bowling Green will likely be without its most versatile offensive threat (redshirt frosh WR/RB/QB Freddie Barnes is expected to miss) and sr. LB Terrel White (Falcons? top tackler) is less than 100% due to a leg injury, the success-starved RedHawks have a legitimate chance to finally prevail. They have top weapon on the field in mercurial sr. WR & return man Ryne Robinson (1000+ yards receiving each of last 2 seasons). And blossoming jr. QB Mike Kokal has thrown for 250 ypg in last 3. Both these defenses are giving up 18 points a game. Tonight's game should be very cold (low 40's) and rain is expected. I would lean toward the "under" if you like the totals on this one.
