Greetings to all,
See what you think of these ones.
Louisville vs Rutgers Under 52
I really want to play the spread on this one, but I just doesn't like Louiville's defense. Does my gut tell me the Cards cover this game....yes......do I think Louiville has a chance against the likes of Texas, Auburn or Florida......no way. Although the Louiville defense was leaky against W. Virginia, facing this predominately run oriented Rutgers offense lends itself to better results. Despite bending a bit in last week's win against West Virginia, Louisville's defense has put up impressive numbers for the season, allowing 15.2 points and 316.5 yards per game, including 105.2 rushing ypg (3.3 ypc). I really don't need to go into all the stats of the Rutgers defense do I? They are very solid and although haven't played the toughest of schedules they are second in the nation in scoring defense (9.1 ppg), total defense (227.4 ypg) and passing defense (135.3 ypg). The Scarlet Knights also have been tough to run on, as they've yielded just 92.1 rushing ypg. Overall, the defense has surrendered just seven touchdowns (two passing) in eight games. If both these defenses play to their potential, the offenses should score, but shouldn't reach the 52 mark. This total started out at 55 and has been dropping so get on it as soon as you can.
(CFB) - BYU -18 vs Wyoming
We've cashed in on the Cougars three times this year. They are currently 8-0-1 against the spread and need this win to stay on top of the Mountain West standings. BYU's defense isn't bad either. They have only allowed one meaningful TD in the last three games and are only averaging giving up 14 points a game. The Cougars are 4-0 SU and ATS at home, blowing out teams by an average of 35 points per game (47-12). Conversely, Wyoming is 1-3 SU on the road (2-2 ATS), managing just 16 ppg in those contests while allowing 22.2 ppg. BYU has dominated on both sides of the ball, outscoring foes by an average final of 34-14 and outgaining them by an average of 135 yards per contest (441-306). QB John Beck has been sensational, completing 71 percent of his throws for 2,351 yards with 19 TDs and just four INTs. He needs another good perfomance to impress the NFL scouts and tonight on national TV would be a good time to do so.
Comments, complaints, etc. always welcomed.
GREAT LUCK TO ALL TONIGHT !!!!!!!!
