Default Help....WHY???

I've had several people tell me to never go with the public...however, I've had several counter arguments telling me it doesn't matter one way or another what the public is betting. Does it really matter? If it does...when should I go against the public? When it's 70-30 or more? My friend told me that's how the sportsbooks make their money...by tricking the public into going one way when in reality....they're really taking the wrong bet.

There has always been an anti public betting debate. Each week you will hear games from people who say this is a lock! If everything was a lock than books would be out of business. What alot of bettors do is they listen to there favorite sports show and bet off of that. Big mistake.

Its not that easy. Teams will always look ahead, have travel, mismatches etc.

I think the best way to go is take a step back before you make a bet and say is this too easy? If so what am I missing? Bookmakers dont come up with a line out of the blue.

Anti-public betting is one tool but not the only one.

Also college is much harder to use anti-public angle with. NFL its a much bettor tool IMO

I like to go anti public sometimes when the line moves backwards for no reason that I can see.

I think the best way to cap is to set your own lines before you see them.

I think last week, betting against the public would have won 50% in the NFL.

betting with or against the public will have huge swings. There are also season when favorites win out more than dogs.
