I was wondering if someone could help me out. I'm pretty new to this site. I've been reading up and what not trying to learn a few tricks of the trade. My most recent way of going about games is gettin free expert picks from numerous sites and if the majority of the experts agree on a couple games...I choose those games. I've been winning around 56 percent or so of the games with this strategy. Should I keep this up...is that pretty smart betting? Are there any tips you guys could give me or things I should know?

I have seen people develop programs that average the predicted score of many sites and take that average and make bets based on it. Problem is most free picks, predictions are "public" picks so public tends to go one way. So far this year Fav's and public have done pretty good.

I would start doing what your doing and then when you find some games that look good. Take a look at the matchup themselves. Is this a let down game? What other factors are involved. Has the public driven the line too high? Does this team doing something well that the other team is weak against. This is where you start capping out your own games and as you get better you can look at more and more
