just wanted to get this in tonight before i hit the sack. dont normally like to sway people off games and call out traps because people get pissed if they back off and wudda won. just looking around the net tho and this game is the biggest trap so far this season i think. do what you want...but i would say you should at the least take a much deeper look at this game before you bet purdue big. see a lot of people doing it around the forums. have seen 3 purdue games this season and that d is horrible. if i had to rank the 10 worst d's in 1a purdue would make the list. look hard at the teams they have played and the points they have given up. yes...they did outscore minny last week...but this is a minny o that is trying to revive the passing game after just pounding it on people the last 2 seasons at least. a strong passing game like n dame has is gonna blow that bad pass d up in a HUGE way. i dont see n dame punting on any drive that they dont kill themselves with penalties. i have been wrong before...but i see a beatdown. something like 48-24 n dame is prolly about right. like i said...dont let me sway you off a game. just take a real close look before you waste a lotta money on a game that has the potential to be very bad for purdue. looks easy at first glance...but there is a reason it is 14.5. that line is crying out please bet on purdue because we are giving you 2+ tds. just my thoughts. gl to any who wanna take that leap. |
