Wow!! I won 1.5 units in college football last week. What should I do with it all? I will tell you what. A winning week no matter how small is better than a losing week. It put me on the plus side for the season as well, so I am not going to complain.

I even won last week in the nfl and that is rare for me to win on both Saturday and Sunday in the same week. You might want to mark that on your calendar, it won’t happen very often. I have some confidence going this week, lets see how I do.

Wyoming +5 vs Syracuse (best bet)……………Syracuse has been down for a couple of years and people are acting like they are back. Trust me, they are not. Wyoming has really been a hard luck team this year losing three games by a total of 15 points. They will either lose another tough game or finally get a break and win this one outright. It almost feels like the books want you to take Syracuse only giving a 1-3 team five points. I am not falling for it. I think the cuse is a suckers bet this week.

Idaho -2.5 vs Utah St (best bet)………What a strange game to make a best bet you may ask. I agree, it is. By my calculations, all Idaho has to score is three points to get the cover seeing how Utah State’s offense has yet to score this year. Just kidding, I know that will not be the case. Utah St should finally score this week. But how can you take a team who has not scored this year only getting 2.5 points? I know Idaho is not very good, but they are good enough in this matchup.

Toledo +14 vs Pittsburgh (strong play)…………..Whatever you do, forget about last weeks pitt win, after all they played Citadel. Pitt will get their share of points in this one, but so will Toledo. This should be a high scoring game and I really think the points will come into play. I still do not trust coach Dave of Pitt. He will find a way to let Toledo in this game right into the fourth quarter.

Purdue +14 vs Notre Dame (strong play)………..I wish people would make up their minds. Notre Dame is great one week and over rated the next. I think even with their comeback win last week, they are still over rated. I think teams with a decent offense is going to give the Irish a battle every time. I have no doubt that Purdue can score enough to cover this generous spread. These two have a history of some shootouts. And this will be no different. Irish get the win, the boilermakers get the cash.

Alabama +13.5 vs Florida (regular play)……………I think even though Florida is definitely the better team, anything can happen when two teams like this get together. When two teams know each other like these two do, I feel there is a tendency to play games close to the vest. If that is the case again, I would think getting almost two touchdowns should be a winner.

Missouri -14.5 vs Colorado (regular play)………….I don’t know what happened last week in Athens. Colorado almost beat Georgia on their home field. Before that game everybody said Colorado was horrible and it was going to be a long, long season. I think last week was a fluke. Missouri is more than capable of scoring a ton of points with their offense. Missouri is a tough place to play. Many teams have gone in their and lost. You really have to ask yourself why a team that almost won in Georgia is getting two touchdowns. It is because they are going to get killed this week.

OPINIONS (just for fun, no units)

Houston +16 vs Miami-Florida………….This is not the Miami team we are all used to.

Iowa State +7 vs Ohio State……….It is tough to win on the road in the big ten, even when you are playing a lousy team.

Minnesota +9.5 vs Michigan………..Same reasons as above. I know at least one of these two big ten home dogs will win, maybe both.

Texas A&M -2 vs Texas Tech…………Tech known for being a completely different team on the road.

Good Luck Everybody!!
