It seems to me that everywhere I visit , everyone is going Under in this game tonight. Usually with that being said, you go the other way. After great consideration, I am playing this game:

Virginia Over 39.5

GT could go over by themselves but with a little help with the new starter tonight for Virginia, I believe this game goes over the total. But hey!!!! what do I know??

yeah everyone is going under...but the total is rising. those are USUALLY money if you fade the mass of people on the under. i just think the virginia gets it going a little with that new qb tonight. i watched them on replay last night and liked what i saw. he has so much athletic and playmaking ability...which is what they need right now. after taking all the snaps this week in practice i hope they cut him loose. if he plays well i think virginia is in the game with a chance to win...a real chance to win. if he plays bad then he is good for a few turnovers setting up ga tech for easy scores. gl tonight as we are going the same way. that might be bad news for you tho...lol.

I agree I think we finally see some offense from Virginia tonight, Groh will be all out with this kid tonight!

Tempted to play this game just to get the week started. However, my inclinations are against the forum sadly enough. Even with a new qb, Va can't make miracles. GT is totally capable of blowing this poor team up, but the line is uncomfortable at best. I don't think UVA's going to score no more than 1 TD and GT will put up 28 points tops, as Va's D is filled with athletes, just bad coaching.

About the total, other than Clemson and BC, there are no offensive ACC teams sadly enough, so the totals will always be low. If the public is pounding GT and the under, I feel a bit foolish here..heh as that's my inclination. The spread is too crazy for me to actually say as it looks right about a coin flip here or even a push.

If I play this game, I'm going the under...but that's a big IF..heh.

Well I played the game(under 40) and I made the right decision. Hopefully people pushed worst case scenario. I think this was one of the very few times I hit a predicted score....

Was it me or was Va's offense like a highschool team with so many dropped passes? And how sick is Calvin Johnson? Thankfully they didn't play him too much in the 2nd half to run up the score. Can't wait to watch an untested VT vs GT next week....

I said UNDER from the start. GT didn't even light up Troy, they are struggling on offense as well. But just not as BAD as VA. When you loose 17-10 to Western Mich and your a ACC team, something is WRONG.

Giving Groh that extended deal before he proved something was the WORST thing they could have done!

At least UNC & Duke can make the excuse they are a basketball first school...
