speaking of parlays before i move on to nfl...since u mentioned it. i got 10 bucks free no deposit in a crappy book last year. i threw it all on a 10 teamer...just picking off the top of my head as i scrolled down with no thought. i hit that baby...only time in my life i have came close to anything like that. come to find out without making a deposit before betting the most i could cash out was 75 bucks. oh man was i pissed because that sucker paid some bucks...lol. anyways...i have learned that parlays are kinda like slots...u win big from time to time but never really come out ahead in the long run. dont mess with em anymore. i have read your thread...and u know ur stuff man. just stick with the straight wagers and u will make ur money this year in the end. sweet win for the spartans...wish i would have been on it with u bro.

Well said hitting a big parlay is like hitting a slot machine. Tough day. Alot of offenses still cant get it right. Wake Forest for one.

i think we just gotta start to understand that ncaa is getting to be a lot like the nfl in the sense that big favs just arent the way to go. maybe it is because they dont have as much of a talent advantage...or they dont get up for the games...i dont know. started to see some of this last year...and it continues the first 2 weeks of this year. in the past u could see a small conference team upset a big boy now and then...but u could always bank on a big 10 team in indiana for example having more talent than a ball state. i mean we even have multiple teams...proud programs...losing to d-2 opposition. i knew with absolute certainty that cal should blast minny...and also loved stanford and lsu. i just need to tone it down a little and stick with the games like that where i am completely sold on one team...tho stanford was a loser. 3 or 4 games was all i ever bet on a full saturday in the past...but i have found myself adding more and more games last year and this year. it is ok that way because it is really hard for a good capper to do worse than 5 out of 10...but it is also very hard to have a really good day that way with all the upsets and teams sliding by against weaker opposition. indiana should have never been on my card...considering that i could not think of a single thing to include in my write up as to why i liked them other than the fact that it was a big 10 team against a middle of the pack mac team. gonna try and stay off those games this week and tighten up a little week 3. didnt lose much because i didnt bet real big like i will later in the season when i get comfortable...but i have always been good at this and posting losing saturdays hurts my pride.

just gotta say one more thing...then i am done with this thread and a terrible week 2. i noticed a service pick on here where someone took arkansas state as their pod...someone who gets paid for picks. as i turn on the radio to listen to my boys play against them i hear that asu is down to like a 3rd string qb...a 3rd string rb...and their only real returning weapon at wideout is injured and wouldnt play. that team had no real chance to score...as a matter of fact their only score was on d or special teams...or at least set up by d or special teams. dont really remember. anyways...service picks coming in here posting a pod like that which some will follow just because it is a service pick...study the dam games please. cant really rip anyone after a terrible week myself...but i just hate to see that. anyways...hope all had a good week 2...and better luck next week to all who did not.
