Default Two 4 Tuesday WInners

Western Michigan @ Ball State

The Ball State Cardinals will try and stay undefeated tonight as they face conference rivals the Western Michigan Broncos. Ball State has been explosive and beat their toughest competition in Central Michigan last time out. They return home tonight where they have beaten every team by more than 12 points. In fact they have beaten every team this season by double digits with the Central Michigan clash being the only exception. Led by star QB Nate Davis the offense can go up and down the field on anyone. It's senior day at Schuemann Stadium and emotions will be high as the team says goodbye to all the seniors including receiver Dante Love, who sustained a career-ending spinal cord injury in September. Emotions will run high on the other side of the ball for Western Michigan and you can hear details about that story on a recorded message 1-888-850-8211. The Cardinals and Central last week played to the highest espn2 ratings on a Tuesday or Wednesday night game ever and people are aware of Nate Davis, but the Broncos have a star QB of their own in Tim Hiller. The often forgotten Hiller has led his team to a 9-2 record with their sole losses coming against that 2 time defending champion Central team , and at a hostile Lincoln Nebraska in week 2. The Broncos had some injuries to their running backs this week as both the starter and backup are listed as questionable. Call 1-888-850-8211 right up to kickoff to find out their status for tonight. This game also has weather issues which can effect the game. In Muncie the temps should go down to mid to low 20's tonight with snow flurries in the forecast and 10-15 mph winds. The students will be waving their red towels but may need them to keep warm. If any weather changes you can call that free recorded message as well. I was all over this total but all the questions have swayed me a bit. I am saying Ball State rolls tonight with the senior day and run for 12-0 in their sights I think they lay the hammer down and cover the number.

Navy @ Northern Illinois

The Midshipmen are already bowl bound but the Huskies need the game to become eligible. Navy almost pulled off a comeback of epic proportions last week late against Notre Dame but fell short rushing for a season low 178 yards. The offense could not seem to have any 3rd down success as they were 1 for 15 on 3rd down conversions. Enter a new QB for the Midshipmen tonight. Sophomore Ricky Dobbs will take the snaps and try to get that vaunted option back in the flow. Dobbs is more of a runner than a passer but his success is hard to argue. He led Navy to a 4th quarter 20 point comeback and has relieved both QB's this year and propelled them to wins. He is efficient and will try and jump start an offense that looked pitiful last week. Navy has thrown just 74 times all year! Across the field the Huskies has been beating people up at home. They have just one home loss and that was an overtime loss to Central Michigan where they still managed to score 30 points and that was the only team to come into Northern Illinois and score more than 13 points. The Huskies are defined by a strong defense and young freshman QB. This is a game where you know what you're getting. The Midshipmen will run run run right into the Huskies strength. The question is can the #2 rushing offense in football crack a defense that has stepped it up at home all season and shut down the run. I am liking Navy to get back on the offensive track and see them sneaking out a very tight game. We will have updates all day for this game as well call 1-888-850-8211 for updates right up until kickoff. A free one minute information message can tell you what we know on the field.
