COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK THIRTEEN
Well I snapped my losing streak of best bets by going 2-0 last week. Got my confidence back as well as I am now up 20 units for the season. Hard to believe that there are only a few full weeks of college football left this season. Unless I fall completely apart I should end up with another winning season. Lets hope my good luck continues.
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19th
C Michigan +7 vs Ball State (strong play)
.For starters I never have a problem taking a home dog in this conference on a weekday night. Ball State is undefeated and getting all the attention, but CMU has been the team in this conference for a few years and although they might now win it this year, they will have something to say about it. Throw in the fact we might have some bad weather where seven points might be huge. Central Michigan pretty good at 8-2 as well. I think Ball State is the better team this year and they will find a way to win this game, but it will not be by more than a touchdown. I really think my worst I can do is a push as I just dont see Ball State winning by more than seven. I really like this one and almost made it a best bet.
I will be back sometime Thursday with my plays for the rest of the weekend.

| I like CMU....but I wouldn't grade them a strong play. I'll only do 1 unit on the side and total

| Got a push on my strong play on Wednesday. C Michigan +7 looked so solid the entire game. I tie is still better than a loss, but I feel like I should of had a winner. Oh well, I don't count ties in my record just so everybody knows.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 20th
Georgia Tech -3 ½ vs Miami-Florida (regular play)…………….Forcing this one a little bit, like I do a lot on these weeknight games. I don’t like laying that half point, but Tech plays defense, has a good running game and they are at home. Miami’s program is headed back in the right direction, and I would not be shocked to see them win, but I really feel home field makes the difference here. I get the crazy feeling Tech wins by three and I lose, but I just cannot bring myself to take Miami on the road. Just a small one unit play to give me a reason to watch the scoreboard tonight.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21st
Buffalo +3 ½ vs Bowling Green (best bet)………………….Very unusual for me to have a best bet on a weeknight in college football, but I really think they wrong team is favored here. Buffalo used to be a college football doormat, but no longer. Turner Gill has completely turned this program around. I think Buffalo is better in every facet of the game. They have been a covering machine on the road and Bowling Green has been horrible ATS at home. Buffalo should win this game outright, so I love the 3 ½ points.
Toledo -3 vs Miami-Ohio (regular play)………….Just cannot resist these weeknight games. Neither team is very good as they both have identical horrible records. Big difference I feel in this home is Toledo has a much better offense and they are at home. Just a unit though, not in love with it at all, but it is worth a small play.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22nd
Air Force +19 ½ vs TCU (best bet)……………………..These are both two pretty good team and there is no doubt in my mind that TCU is the better of the two, but this line is a joke. This is just common sense and should be an easy winner. TCU will win this game, but their loss at Utah hurt their season and I really don’t think they will be up for this game like they would have been if they beat Utah. TCU tough to run on and they will be challenged by Air Forces running game. Air Force might not score many, but they will move the chains and keep the ball away from TCU and stay within this generous point spread. Really like this one.
Northwestern +3 vs Illinois (best bet)…………….This one is another one for me that does not take that much thought. Better team, better record and they are at home getting points. Northwestern’s defense has been playing pretty good and I know they can move the ball. Illinois is having a down season and they are just not good and probably want to just get this season over with. I would take Northwestern even if they were a three point favorite in this one.
Pittsburgh +5 vs Cincinnati (strong play)……………Always scares me to death taking Coach Dave as he is capable of screwing anything up. Despite having a moron for a coach, Pitt has had Cincinnati’s number over the years. Cincinnati has been the surprise team of the Big East this year, while Pitt was expected to challenge for the Big East title and be a top 15 or so team. My gut feeling is Pitt will outplay them tonight, but Cincinnati will find a way to win this one with a late TD or field goal. I cannot picture either team running away with this game and it should be decided in the fourth quarter and the five points should come into play.
Vanderbilt -3 vs Tennessee (strong play)………………Here is another game that did not take all that much thought for me. I could just copy and paste from my Northwestern/Illinois game for this. Tennessee is a mess and Vandy is going to a bowl game this year and knows they are the better team this year. When was the last time you could say that? Better team, playing at home and only laying a field goal vs a team who is having a nightmare season and just wants to it end. I really don’t think this game will be close. I am not sure why I don’t make it a best bet, but I won’t.
Indiana +12 vs Purdue (regular play)……………Two teams having lousy years and there is no way 12 points separates these two. I was impressed with Indy hanging around at Penn State last week, so I feel they can certainly hang with Purdue.
BYU +7 vs Utah (regular play)……………….Just cannot pass up BYU plus a touchdown. I know Utah is the better team at home, but this should be a great game where seven points is huge.
Michigan St +14 ½ vs Penn State (regular play)…………Another very good team getting points that I cannot resist. Mich St a surprise team in the Big-10 and things have just gone there way this year, unlike most years when they were supposed to be great a choked. I don’t care what anybody says, even though Penn State can win the conference with this win, they cannot feel the same being knocked out of the big picture. Just too many points here and worth a one unit play for me.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23rd
Connecticut +3 vs S Florida (regular play)……………If I would have saw this line at the start of the season, I would have been all over S Florida. There was talk of them running the table and having a shot at the national title. I think they have been one of the most under achieving teams this season. Connecticut does what it takes to win. They play defense and run the ball. They win ugly all the time and I think they win another ugly game at S Florida Sunday night. Plus I cannot pass up a Sunday night college football game.
I will tell you what, all my best bets and strong plays really jump out at me and I feel like they are easy winners. This has the potential to be a great week. On the other side, maybe my thinking is way off base and I could take a royal beating. They say if it looks to easy is usually is. The question is do they look easy to just me or everybody? I feel pretty good about this week in college football.

| like miami on thursday. Georgia Tech WILL have to pass and the outcome of the game depends on GT's ability to convert those critical throws. Miami is an SEC caliber defense.
love both friday night plays. I have no clue how Buffalo isn't favored. one of my favorite teams in college this season.
saturday, like Air Force. 16 to 20 points is too much margin of error room for air force. Like Indiana and Michigan State. Still have to get to the BYU game.
