Phoenix Suns - 4

Lakers are simply to banged up to win this game. They are thin at front line with Brown and Mihn out, and will start a 19 year old at Center. Kobe will play, but missed all 8 pre season games with knee injury.

Phoenix have own health issues with Marions back and Amare coming off knee surgery. But they should run all over the Lakers and I see a double digit win for the Suns.

Usually home dogs are not a bad play especially with the Lakers winning 15 of 16 home openers and Suns loosing 5 of 6 past openers, but this is simply a case where such trend won't play a difference.

I will post at least a play a day throughout the season.

I didnt have any money on this game cause i didnt feel strong enough on the suns yet i couldnt see me betting lakers either. Im very suprised the suns lost. Lamar Odom put the team on his back with his monster night of 32-34points couldnt remember the exact number along with 13 rebounds and 6 assist. Thats the thing about the suns they can shoot themselves in and out of a game

They let themselves relax to much like the Eagles did against the Giants few weeks back. I blame the coach, he is a good guy and great coach, but you can't let yourself get beaten by replacement players. Great win for the Lakers, hats off to them
