Default NBA Tuesday Final Scores and Game Capsules

Final Score: Charlotte 94, Washington 92
Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) - Raymond Felton hit the go-ahead jumper with 1.9 seconds to play, lifting the Charlotte Bobcats to a 94-92 victory over the Washington Wizards. Stephen Jackson finished with 22 points to pace the Bobcats, who snapped a three-game slide. Gerald Wallace added 17 points and 13 rebounds, while Boris Diaw and Flip Murray each scored 16. Felton had 11 points in the victory. Caron Butler had 23 points and eight assists to lead the Wizards, who last played Friday in a win at Orlando. Their scheduled game Saturday against Atlanta was postponed because of a blizzard that hit Washington hard. Mike Miller had 19 points in the loss, while Antawn Jamison finished with 16 but missed a potential game-tying leaner in the lane at the buzzer.

Final Score: Cleveland 104, New Jersey 97
Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - LeBron James shot 13-of-21 from the floor in a 32-point, 11-assist effort, as the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the New Jersey Nets, 104-97, for their 12th straight win, the longest streak in the NBA this season. Jawad Williams added a career-high 17 points for the Cavaliers, who, at 42-11, have clinched their sixth consecutive winning season. Their 12 straight wins also tops 11-game stretches by both Boston and the Lakers earlier this season. Anderson Varejao contributed 15 points and nine boards, while Daniel Gibson had 11 points in the victory. Brook Lopez had 23 points and 14 rebounds for the Nets, who have lost seven straight, 18 of 19 and sit at the basement of the league with a 4-47 record. Courtney Lee posted a team-high 24 points with seven rebounds, Jarvis Hayes added 19 points and Yi Jianlian and Keyon Dooling each had 11 in the loss.

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Andre Iguodala scored a game-high 24 points, and Elton Brand added 21 points and seven rebounds, as the Philadelphia 76ers routed the Minnesota Timberwolves, 119-97. Both teams came in with season-high four-game winning streaks, but it was the Sixers that continued to turn the corner in an otherwise disappointing season. Lou Williams helped the cause with 16 points and seven assists off the bench, while Thaddeus Young and Willie Green each scored 15 points for Philadelphia, which made 61.4 percent from the field in the first half to build a 22-point halftime lead. Wayne Ellington, a Philadelphia-area native, led Minnesota with 16 points.

Final Score: Miami 99, Houston 66
Miami, FL (Sports Network) - Dwyane Wade compiled 17 points, seven assists and five steals over the first three quarters, and Miami snapped a season-high five-game skid with a resounding 99-66 victory over the Houston Rockets. Michael Beasley, Jermaine O'Neal and Daequan Cook all scored 10 in the win. Chase Budinger had 10 points and 12 rebounds for Houston, which tied its franchise record for fewest points in a game. Luis Scola chipped in 12 points, Carl Landry netted 11, while Aaron Brooks scored 10. The Rockets, who shot a woeful 30.2 percent (26-of-86), were missing Trevor Ariza (left hip pointer) and Kyle Lowry (sprained left ankle) from the lineup.

Final Score: Sacramento 118, New York 114 (OT)
New York, NY (Sports Network) - Tyreke Evans led a vicious fourth-quarter charge and netted two critical free throws with 4.9 seconds left in overtime, and the Kings responded from a late 15-point deficit to upend the Knicks, 118- 114, at Madison Square Garden. Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Carmelo Anthony scored 19 points in 30 minutes in his return to the court, and the Denver Nuggets crushed the Dallas Mavericks, 127-91, at Pepsi Center.
