The Hornets beat the Mavericks in easy fashion but are still hungry to prove they belong in the same category with the top teams in the West. Kobe was named MVP and that should add fire to Paul who has already shined in the playoffs. The Spurs were just 16-27 ATS on the road this year and the Hornets have covered 21 of the last 28 as hme favorites.
San Antonio:
3-11 ATS as a road underdog of 6 points or less
New Orleans:
23-9 ATS off ATS loss
Three Units: Magic +6.5
The Magic may not be ready to advance to the next level but they are ready to take Detroit to a deep series and I would not be surprised at all if they steal this game. The Magic have size and quickness and are 15-6-1 ATS as road dogs. The Magic were the elite road team this year in the NBA with a few others and it will show why tonight.
