A pair of contests were more like wars of atrition, and fortunately I was on the right side of both. Colorado and the White Sox took huge leads in their respective games, but both had to hold to get wins. Colorado led 9-1 at one point, and took a 10-8 decision. The White Sox had a 9-run inning to take an 11-2 lead, but used nearly every arm in the ballpark to nail down an 11-10 over the Indians.
Those two wins helped lead the way to a healthy session that included 6 wins, 3 losses and positive unit gain of 3.98. Key wins were a come from behind 3-2 victory for the Cubs, and a nice late dog hit as Texas won 5-1 at a nice price of +138. Atlanta got hammered, but fortunately exposure was limited due to the runline play. Other losses were on Arizona, and Toronto.
I feel resonably comfortable with the slate of action for Tuesday, and a 2nd straight sucessful session would no doubt be encouraging. The hammer is locked and I am ready to pull the trigger with the following.....
