Took Sunday off, had to work. No games on Monday or Tuesday and Wednesday was another off day for the players. Very small schedule for Thursday as well. Here is what I have come up with.


Yankees -146 vs Tampa Bay………….Have a feeling the Yanks come out smoking in the second half and it does not hurt to open the second half against Tampa Bay. Pettitte is a remarkable 11-1 career vs the devil rays. Tampa’s offense is pretty weak and I think the yanks should be able to put some runs of the board tonight.

Toronto +104 vs Boston…………..Wakefield is either on or off with his knuckler. I cannot pass up Halladay as a dog here. Huge pitching advantage for the Jays. Tough to win in Boston, but this is worth a shot.

Seattle -133 vs Detroit…………Seattle sort of flying under the radar this year, not getting much attention. They are quietly in second place and have a very good home record of 27-15. Pitching matchup about even, but I look for the home field to be the difference in this one.



This is going to be if for me until August. I am leaving for Hawaii on Friday at noon and going to be there for two weeks. When I get back I will only have to wait a few days and preseason football will be getting underway, so that is exciting. Even though I am up over twenty units (used to be thirty), if I continue to lose in bases I may quit and concentrate on football. There is no point in giving back my winnings in bases, I would rather save it for football, but if I can get on a roll again in bases, I will continue.
