The same thing that I said about Detroit I could say about Boston. The travel put them in a funk and they are playing sluggish and got shut out by a southpaw last night and why anyone would back them tonight is beyond me. The A’s are getting the clutch hits at the right time and getting great bullpen work. Kennedy’s numbers are much better in the last three stars than Wakefield’s and we have a home umpire. The A’s ae one of the best home teams in June in the last five years.
