Last afternoon games for me and I really like the looks of this one, granted the fish have lost 3 straight but the Cubs have not only lost 5 of the last seven but coming off a west coast trip that went to extra innings last night giving the fresh leg advantage to the fish. Marshall goes to the Hill for the Cubs and his numbers have been very nice of late but the fish feed off lefties. Not to mention that in his last appearance against the fish he gave up seven earned. They hit 19 points better against southpaws as they stand at .273 on the season. Betting on Kim may not seem like one of the safest bets you can make but since coming over from Colorado his numbers have drastically improved and the change of scenery has done him well.
The cubs have had trouble starting off a series going just 5-12 in game one of a series to include 3-7 after a loss.
