Fletcher's Corner
We have gone 11-2 here the last couple of weeks including some big prices. Our Investor's Group has won every week in baseball so far this season. We went 6-2 this week before shutting down. Money management is the key to winning and being ahead almost 4 units in a week is profitable enough not to give it back. We also cashed big in hockey winning one series and sitting on the verge of winning another before the weekend is out. Our Early Bird baseball special entitles you to every play we make until the last pitch in the world series. Check it out at our website.
For Saturday, we will stick with the formula that has produced some big profits for us. Despite giving the Cubs a 10-0 drubbing Friday, we will take the Brewers -149 and -1.5 run s at +145. Don't often like to come right back after a one sided win, but it definitely looks like the first place Brewers are up to the job. Did I really say the first place Brewers?
Even though Detroit has not lived up to expectations this year, we think that they will regain last year's form before the season ends. The once dominant pitching staff has had some holes in it this year, but tomorrow is a good day for Maroth to get going. In what seems a very low line, we will take Detroit -130 and -1.5 runs for +125. Remember these are overnight lines and they will change.
On another note, it would seem like the NYY would send Weaver packing before they reach the 3rd inning Saturday. He has had nothing this year and despite the inability of the NYY pitching staff to shut down anyone, tomorrow could be ugly. At -270 they are a little too steep for us considering their horrendous pitching. Wang might be one of their better pitchers, so in a game where a football type score is likely, you might take a look at the NYY -1.5 runs at -135. It would seem likely that if the Yanks win this game, it is not going to be by a 3-2 type score. No pitcher's duel expected here.
