Another winning night, even though very small. I only made three picks, all favorites and went 2-1 (+0.77 units). It is not much, but it sure beats a losing night. Pittsburgh was my only loser while the braves and brewers were my two winners.

Only one day game Thursday and I did not like it anyway. Otherwise a fairly small schedule to choose from. I am really struggling to come up with much tonight. I have only found one, but I really like it. Even though I really like it, it is as usual for just one unit.

San Fran -137 vs Phillies………….I normally do very well picking phillies games, whether for or against. I went against them last night and I am doing it again tonight. I guess the first place to start is with pitching. I am not a big Adam Eaton fan at all. He has got hit hard most of his starts, but the phils refuse to put him in the bullpen. Eaton is 2-2, 8.04 in five starts this season. I guess they are just being stubborn because they signed him to be a starter. I would much rather have Myers back in the rotation. He does not have a great history vs the Giants either. Eaton has struggled in his career against the Giants, going 2-5 with a 4.57 ERA and is winless in his last 10 starts against San Francisco. On the other side Caine has pitched great. Cain has allowed one run or less in his last four starts and has given up only three runs total in 29 innings (a 0.93 ERA). I just don’t see philly pulling this one out. It would take a combination of a great start by Eaton, and a poor outing by Caine. You might get one, but not both. I just see great value with the Giants at home and laying only -137. This one is solid.

I have never been a big fan of Eaton even before he signed with the phillies. Maybe he is putting pressure on himself to perfom for the phillies. He was supposed to be a missing piece of the puzzle for the phillies. He needs to earn my respect before I start betting on him. He is a definite go against for me as of now.

i agree, hes not the best bet, but more than half of the time, eaton comes out with a victory for the phillies, regardless of the feelings people have for him.
