Default Friday MLB

Washington +183

Washington has Chico throwing and considering he has not pitched that badly. He pitched his best game at home against the Braves so its worth a shot here.

Play On
Home underdogs with a money line of +100 or higher (WASHINGTON)
stranding 7.5 or more runners on base per game on the season, after 10 straight games where they failed to hit more than one HR

37-21 since 1997.
63.8% (26.1 units)

When NY METS team played as a Road team - During a night game - After a non division game - Coming off a Home loss - Coming off a day game they are 6-14.

Reds +142

Look at the bookies finally giving Snell some respect! Good time to go against them because you will see that Bucs struggle against southpaws. (.204 @ home against lefties)

When PITTSBURGH team played as a Home team - During a night game - Vs. Left handed pitchers - Coming off a Home win as a Underdog - Coming off a Home win they are 8-16

Play Against
All favorites with a money line of -110 or higher (PITTSBURGH)
off an upset win over a division rival as an underdog, starting a pitcher who gave up <=2 earned runs in his last 2 outings

137-119 since 1997.
53.5% (60.9 units)

Milton: 31-14 TSR after allowing 0 walks last start
Snell: Pittsburgh 16-37 SU vs. left-handed starters

NOTE:I really wanted to take Capuano but the Stros have some good numbers backing them up and Oswalt is at a good price if anything I would take him. (Overall stros hit lefties 37 points higher than righties)

Rockies +107

James has not pitched well against the Rockies and the Rockies are much better at home and solid against south paws. The Braves have not helped James in road games.

When COLORADO team Played as Home team as a Favorite - Before a non division game - Vs Non Division Opponent - Coming off a Win vs. NL EAST opponent - Allowed 5 runs or less AGAINST in their last game they are 29-13 SU

When ATLANTA team played as a Road team - Vs NL Conference - Last 5 years - Coming off a Road loss - Coming off vs. Left handed pitcher they are 10-20 SU

Braves are 1-4 in their last 5 vs. National League West.
Braves are 2-9 in their last 11 road games vs. a left-handed starter.
Braves are 1-5 in their last 6 games vs. a left-handed starter.
Braves are 1-6 in their last 7 when their opponent allows 5 runs or more in their previous game.

Rockies are 5-0 in Francis' last 5 starts as a home underdog.
Rockies are 9-1 in Francis' last 10 starts vs. National League East.
Rockies are 5-1 in Francis' last 6 starts as an underdog.
Rockies are 5-1 in Francis' last 6 starts during game 1 of a series.
Rockies are 4-1 in Francis' last 5 home starts vs. a team with a winning record.
Rockies are 8-2 in Francis' last 10 starts with the total set at 9.0-10.5.

NOTE: In a battle of lefties I like Arizona over SF but cannot go against the streak, plain and simple. Same with the Dodgers I like them too.

American League

I like the Yankees to win this game tonight, but again the whole streak thing is in play so I am going to pass and just root for the sox...

Detroit -146

A bit of chalk I know but it stayed under my -150 criteria so I am taking it. Robertson has better numbers than ortiz and the Twins hit just .225 on the road against lefties as opposed to over .300 against righties.

Play Against
Road teams (MINNESOTA)
off a one run win over a division rival, with a hot starting pitcher- ERA less than 2.50 over his last 3 starts

103-62 since 1997.
62.4% (43.6 units)

When DETROIT team Played as Home team as a Favorite - Last 5 years - During a night game - Coming off a night game - Coming off vs. Right handed pitcher they are 39-20

When DETROIT team played as a -140 to -160 Home Favorite - Playing on Friday - During a night game - Coming off vs. Right handed pitcher - Coming off a night game they are 9-2.

When MINNESOTA team Played as Road team as a Underdog - Vs AL Conference - Coming off vs. American League opponent - Coming off a 1 game win - Coming off a 2 game under they are 2-13

Twins are 1-4 in their last 5 vs. American League Central.
Twins are 1-4 in their last 5 games as an underdog of +110 to +150.
Twins are 1-4 in their last 5 overall.
Twins are 0-6 in their last 6 Friday games.
Twins are 0-4 in their last 4 games vs. a left-handed starter.
Twins are 0-4 in their last 4 when their opponent scores 5 runs or more in their previous game.
Tigers are 4-0 in their last 4 after allowing 2 runs or less in their previous game.
Tigers are 4-0 in their last 4 when their opponent allows 2 runs or less in their previous game.
Tigers are 4-1 in their last 5 during game 1 of a series.
Twins are 2-8 in the last 10 meetings in Detroit.

Oh Yeah and I have a total play too: (also like the under sox/yanks, 2 good pitchers, wind blowing in but will play just one)

Angels /White Sox OVER 9 -105

Santana has not pitched well in road games and it looks like the Angel bats are awake. The wind is blowing out

When LOS ANGELES ANGELS team Played as Road team as a Underdog - Vs AL Conference - Before a conference game - Coming off a Home win - Coming off a Win vs. AL EAST opponent the over is 11-1.

NOTE: Likes Seattle to beat KC, but already took one team with juice in Detroit so I will leave it alone.
