On Sunday went 3-0 with my favorites, 2-0 with my dogs and 0-1 on my runline plays (had San Diego -1.5 and they won by one run). Usually a favorite that big I like to parlay it with another big favorite, but could not find another one I liked.
I have a little extra time on my hands tonight, so I think I am going to go ahead and post Mondays play a day early, this way I won’t miss all the day games.
Pittsburgh -118 vs St Louis………..I have mentioned before that I like this Pirate team, I think they are going to be a headache to many teams this year, especially at home. The have Snell pitching this one, and he is probably their best pitcher. Cards still over rated, like most of this division. Pirates not a bad team at all at home. I think they will be pumped in front of the home folks and get the big win.
Phillies +113 vs Mets……….By now most people are thinking the Phils suck and are over rated and the Mets are of course still the Mets. Who wouldn’t take the Mets at home at this price. Even though the fightin phils only have one win, they could have easily won most of their games with a few more timely hits. Phils bats are due to break out and I love Cole Hamels. Pat Burrell is also known as a Met killer. I look for him to have a productive day in this one.
San Diego -130 vs San Fran…………Last year Padre pitcher Chris Young was unhittable at times and that just sticks in my mind. Giants and Barry Bonds are way over rated, plus I cannot stand them. I know that has nothing to do with the game, but I just like saying it. I just see value laying only -130 at home vs the Giants….going with my gut in this one.
Here is only my second parlay of the year. I like taking two decent sized favorites together. It usually pays half decent.
Toronto vs Kansas City
Oakland vs White Sox………….risking one unit to win 1.41 units
Kansas City has always been a horrible road team and Oakland has Harden pitching for them in this one.
There you go five more for you. It is going to be hard to beat Sunday’s results, but you just never know. I feel good about these.
