By JT Sneaks Here is my top ten list of things to do in order to have a successful year betting on baseball. 1) Be a Dog Player: There is a desire for new baseball bettors to ride the coattails of successful teams like Boston, New York, and Atlanta because they have a history of winning ball games so it would only make sense that they would be great to bet on. However there are different avenues to take when betting in baseball and I highly suggest staying away from any favorite over 140 and for some that is even too steep. The premise is simple if you bet on a team that is a 2 to 1 favorite (-200) and they lose you would have to win two games just to make up for that one loss, but if youre a dog player you could have a losing record and still be in the profit, which is one of the greatest aspects about betting baseball.
