Default Tuesday's Alcs Play

Greetings to all,

See what you think.

A's vs Tigers OVER 8.5

Statistically this one has the "over" written all over it. I was really surprised to see this line at 8.5 instead of 9, which in all reality gives us a run to burn. Robertson is our key in this one. He finished off the regular season laboring, and that carried over into his first start of the post-season. He boasts an 8.27 ERA in his L/3 starts, and has given up 27 hits in only 16.1 innings of work. He's been blasted for 13 earned runs and 22 hits his L/2 starts, and the A's come into this one batting a scorching .352 against south-paws in their L/10 games. We have two lefties starting here and that helps our cause even more! The A's are absolutely killing lefties at the .352 mark and the Tigers aren't bad themselves hitting .306 against south paws. This statistic also bleeds over in the run total as the A's are averaging 9.38 runs and the Tigers 7.98 runs against lefties.

Comments, complaints, etc. always welcomed.

GREAT LUCK TO ALL TONIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going with the Tigers and the over. I think they are on a high after the Yankees. And I think Zito is due for a blow up like we've seen before.

Gotta agree with Jason going over and A's I think they have alittle more of a lineup compared to the Twins.

If the A's could hit with RISP the over would have been easily reached. The Tigers played well, but we should have had the over tonight boys.

Welcome aboard.

bad loss last night. This reminded me of when I went agains the RSox after a big series win against the yanks and they coasted after that and swept the cards. Think the same may apply here.
