sunday bases

Glad to be back after a month or so off from the internet and gambling. Needed the break, but glad to be back with bases. Bases have always been one of my better sports, but the past two years I have just been breaking even. I am due for a breakout year.

I am not going to go crazy with a whole bunch of picks for all kinds of different unit amounts. All of my plays will be for one unit and two unit plays for my best picks of the day.

I think one of the keys to winning is bases is to layoff those huge favs. Yeah, they will usually win, but it only takes a couple of losses to lose your profits. Whenever I see a big fav that I love, I usually play the runline. If you like them that much, then you would think they will cover the 1.5 runline and you get it at a much favorable price. I try not to play favs of more than 150, but I am always in search of dogs. With dogs you can hit 50% and still come out on top. You got to love baseball.

Phillies are going to win the nl east this year…………you heard it right here first. They are just as good as anybody in that division. They key is to stay healthy and they are due for a good year in regards to being healthy. Go phillies!!!!

one unit play to start with, sort of forcing this a little bit, but it is the opener and i don't care. need some action one the first game of the year.


under 8.5 (+105) (boston/yankees)........cannot make my mind up one a side in this one. if you put a gun to my head i would take the yanks, but do not want to lay that steep of a price against the redsox. i usually play the runline in a game like this, but i just cannot bring myself to give the redsox a run and a half.

the weather is miserable in the northeast. i live in pennsylvania and it is snowing. this has the makings of a low scoring game unless we have some hr's with men on base. don't see either team knocking either pitcher out early or giving up alot of hits. this looks like a 3-2 type of game to me.

like i said, sort of forcing this one a little bit, i normally don't play totals, but it is the only thing i can come up with and i got to have something on the first game of the year.
