 tuesday bases
I have a full day ahead of me tomorrow, so I thought I would go ahead and post my plays tonight.
61-46 (+31.10 units) at the start of monday.
already hit florida for three units early in the day and have arizona and boston for three units each as well. I will update my record on Wednesday with my plays.
minnesota -120 vs texas (3 units)...........sometimes it is easy to put too much time or thinking when you handicap games. minnesota has been great as of late, they have been phenominal at home. I don't even care about the pitching matchups here. I will take the twins at home at this price vs just about anybody right now.
boston +107 vs cleveland (3 units)...........Very similar to the above game. Sure the tribe have the pitching advantage here, but that is all they have. boston has been great at home too and should not be an underdog to these indians. This play does not require a lot of thought.
pittsburgh +1.5 (-114) vs atlanta (2 units)..............I think they braves are done. They were shooting their mouths off before the mets series and look what happened. Bucs have played a little better lately and they are not the pushover people think they are at home. I just don't see the braves being into this game that much, even with smoltz pitching and the bucs giving them all they can handle. I feel better taking the runline incase atlanta wins a one run game, but i expect the pirates to win this outright.
ny mets +102 vs florida (2 units)...............I am going to do really great, or really get killed tuesday....just a feeliing I have. The mets are just steamrolling over everybody this year. Hope this is not a suckers bet taking the mets as a dog. It won't be the first time I have been called a sucker.
cincinnati -161 vs la dodgers (1 unit).............I have been playing the reds since the allstar break and there is no reason to stop now. I hate laying odds this high, but the dodgers bats have gone cold recently. This game should not be close.
phillies +136 vs st louis (1 unit)..............I am going to continue to go the opposite of what I think the phillies are going to do. After the beating they took today, I don't see them caring a heck of alot in this one. They have a rookie pitching in cory lidles spot here. Cards due to unload on somebody and this kid might get it. Of course that is how the game should go, but it won't. In my don't make sense play, give me the phillies to win.
