Carlos Lee to Rangers

First major trade just went down. Carlos Lee of Milwaukee has landed in Texas. The Texas Rangers acquired All-Star outfielder Carlos Lee from the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday for reliever Francisco Cordero and outfielders Kevin Mench and Laynce Nix.

I am very suprised that he has gone here, if the Rangers need anything its pitching but I guess they will never learn

Awesome, that should open up room for Anthony Gwynn Jr or Nelson Cruz in the OF.

Edit-Maybe not, I can't believe they got all of that for Lee. And why are the brewers getting another closer of equal talent to Turnbow. This trade doesn't make much sense for either team as Texas is the one in need of Pitching, although they just got Eaton back from the DL.

Eaton gets hurt to easily. Giving up a solid closer like this is crazy, a good 1-2 punch for the 8th and 9th goes along way. Mariano and Wettland did it for years in NY. Plus this guy is a free agent, he could be gone after the season.
