Default Huge in depth Monday MLB Card!

Man I like a bunch of games for tonight and with two hours before first pitch I will try to get to as many as I can, I will try not to get long winded and will post them one at a time to get them out.

Philly -118

The phillies are hard to figure out because one minute they look like they are going to finally start playing well and the next minute you are just waiting to hear about the fire sale. Pitching kept the braves in the game last night and that won't happen tonight. dson is not pitching well and has given up 5 runs ro more in 5 of his last 6 starts. With an empty lineup he won't get the usual 12 runs of support he got in his last three starts and the Braves drop in the batting average department against lefties.

Cubs +148

The Cubs are playing in a same pitching matchup from last week when Maddux lost to Trachsel. This is a spot where I like to take the team that lost in the first meeting (as you will see again soon) The theory is the pitcher who lost will work on adjustments trying to improve on his last performance and the winning pitcher will do little to change his approach since it worked so well the last time and the same can be said about the hitters. Maddux has pitched well but just not gotten any run support and he always pitches better at Shea giving up two runs or less in his last four starts dating back years. Also what I found very interesting is that overall thiis year against righties the hapless Cubs hit better than the Mets. They will again tonight and will get the win.

Cleveland +108

I know the Tigers are playing great ball, but I like the tribe in this one tonight. Lee has had some decent starts against teh Tigers this year Bonderman is coming off a shutout the last time he faced the tribe and the times before that he pitched 6 innings giving up 12 earned. Look for the tiger bats to cool down as they hit over 30 points less against lefties.

TB +173

The Rays are a better team at home and it showed as they took it to the O's over the weekend scoring 29 runs in the three game set. This is a pitching rematch of a game the Rays lost 4-0 last week. Seo has pitced great for the Rays since coming to the Rays just has not gotten the run support that will change tonight with the recent flurry of runs.

I really dont like the Phillies tonight with the shaky rookie on the mound against a rejuvenated Braves squad.

I agree the Phillies will be way down after last nights game and ole Charlie could not and can not motivate this group
I aslo like Detriot alot tonight you have to give it up to Bonderman in his last 8 outings plus he is unbeaten on the road in like his last 6
well good luck

Smart Guy,

That shaky rookie has put up better numbers than Hudson lately and the Braves lineup is depleted with Jones & Jones out...as Minet put it it's always a gamble going with the Phillies but thought tonight was worthy of a shot.

Good luck to both of you,

JT
