Default tuesday bases

3-0 (+9.63 units) yesterday
39-24 (+35.26 units) overall

I really had a good feeling about last nights plays and they came through for me. Even my milwaukee at +190 which I said I liked, but did not take came through. I am on a lucky streak right now I guess. I am hoping to go out a winner before leaving for vacation early in the morning.

atlanta +123 vs st louis (3 units)..............I am going to ride these hot bats until they cool off, it is that simple. The cardinal pitcher has the better win loss record, but braves pitcher the lower era. That is only because the cards were winning while scoring plenty of runs and the braves just could not win many games. Things have turned around now. Even though Hudson has a losing record, I will take a pitcher like him anyday with some hot hitting hitters to back him up. Thow in the fact that the braves are a dog and you have a real solid pick. Even if it loses, I am not sorry I took this one.

phillies -112 vs san diego (3 units)..........I won last night going against these same phillies. The phils are a hard team to figure out. Just when you figure they suck and they should get rid of the manager and most of the team, they string a few wins together and give us philly fans false hope. After blowing last nights game, most would figure they might be a little down as they just cannot afford many losses, especially in games where they lead, so going against them today might be a good idea. But no, these are the phillies. Watch and see if ryan madson does not pitch a great game and the philllies win. Betting phillies games this year you really just need to go the opposite of what you think they will do.

cincinnati +105 vs ny mets (2 units)..........i said right after the allstar break that I thought the reds would get hot again and start of the second half just like they did the start of the season, and that is exactly what they have done. Sure they are playing the Mets and that is why the reds are home underdogs tonight, but that is fine with me, I love a good dog. The reds lead the wild card race right now, but still have their eyes on the cardinals who are facing a red hot braves team right now, so they could pick up anther game on them tonight and if my picks come true, they will. Mets have just been great this year, so they are due to lose a few. The odds are they will not play as well in the second half as they did the first, anybody would be hard pressed to do that. I just love the reds in front of the home crown to beat the almighty mets tonight.

angels +109 vs cleveland ( 2 units).............There is no doubt that the cleveland indians have the pitching advantage tonight. But cleveland is cold while the angels have been hot. While lee has done a great job for the indians, he is not the dominating type of pitcher who can go into enemy territory and shut down a red hot team like the angels who have won 9 of their last 10. I don't know who the guy is pitching for the angels, but sometime when you have never seen a guy before, he can be difficult to hit. You see rookie pitchers all the time come up and make a pretty good debut. Once again, another nice home doggie.

toronto +116 vs texas (1 unit).............Very similar to the angels game. Pitching favors texas big time, but I cannt ignore the jays 32-18 home record and with another no-name pitcher going for toronto, who knows. Padilla is one of those pitchers (who used to pitch for the phillies), believe me, I know, that throws a gem one day and sucks the next. I just see value with the jays as a home dog.

white sox +120 vs detroit (1 unit).................The tigers have been great this year and I have to give them alot of credit, but lets see what the sox are made of. The tigers have a better record on the road than they do at home, although both are really good, so they can be beat at home. We are getting a pretty good pitcher in garland as a dog here. I bet alot of just gut instincts and my gut tells me Jim Thome homers once, maybe twice tonight, just have a crazy feeling about that.

Looking back at all my picks today, I find it really strange that I took all dogs except for my phillies, who you have to wonder why they are not a dog at san diego. That is kind of strange. Watch me go 1-5 with the Phillies being my only winner.

That is it for me until Sunday. Taking a short little vacation with the inlaws (good thing it is short huh), just kidding...I got lucky when it comes to inlaws.

Good Luck everybody!!
