another winning night last night. i cannot believe how i have turned this season around since there is no pressure on me now. hope i can continue to get this lucky.
detroit -1.5 (-111) vs kansas city (3 units)..........what can i say, very similar play to last nights. very good pitcher throwing for the tigers who have the best record in baseball vs one of the worst road teams in the league. last nights game was closer than expected, this one will be a blow out.
angels -1.5 (+100) vs tampa bay (3 units).............angels starting to play better ball and i really like the pitching matchup tonight. i think this one has blow out written all over it as well.
at least one of my two three unit plays will be a winner, i know that, so a split and i can live with losing what i would lose knowing i have a pretty good chance of hitting both.
phillies +105 vs san fran (2 units)...........everybody talks about the phillies being a troubled team and they are in a downward spiral, i do not agree. they got lieber back and he threw a pretty good game his first one back before the allstar game. i think he gives a great effort tonight. it might actually help the phillies playing on the road right now and take some of the pressure off from their mean fans. i don't see how the giants have the record they do. i think they are going to hit a bad losing streak right after bonds go to jail (did i say that?) the phils have always played well out west too, so i think they have alot going for them tonight, especially as a dog. give them to me.
white sox +109 vs yankees (2 units).............this one might lose, but i have to take it. contreras who has not lost in forever against the yankees who are not the powerhouse everybody thinks anymore. i am not afraid of randy johnson either. he is the only reason the sox are a dog tonight and that is fine with me.
cincinnati -136 vs colorado (1 unit)...........i just have this gut feeling that the reds are going to start off the second half like they did the first. i think these are very fair odds to get the reds at home.
toronto -116 vs seattle (1 unit).............i guess seattle must have the pitching advantage tonight and that is why the line is so low. i cannot pass up the jays bats at home at this price.....win or lose i have to try this one.
going to have to take a pass on all the afternoon games saturday as i am working until 4:00. i will be back in time for the night games.
