Who do yall think will win the Century 21 Homerun Derby??? I'd like all of your opinions!
The choices for reference are...
L-David Ortiz (Red Sox) 31 HR
L-Ryan Howard (Phillies) 28 HR
R-Miguel Tejada (Orioles) 17 HR
L/R-Lance Berkman (Astros) 24 HR
R-Troy Glaus (Blue Jays) 22 HR
R-Jermaine Dye (White Sox) 24 HR
R-David Wright (Mets) 19 HR
R-Miguel Cabrera (Marlins) 15 HR
My personal pick is David Ortiz. Not just because he leads in homeruns, but also because he has returning experience in this event, and I think we can all agree that this guy is the most cluth hitter in the game. GO AMERICAN LEAGUE! |

ummmmmmmmmmm david wright this guy is goood and also extremely clutch, he should be close to the mvp as well. A solid player all around he is my pick and who i am rooting for. | |

Howard or Glaus.
Ortiz and Tejada always seem to do poorly in these, and Wright, well, I don't know why I don't like him in this.  |

Wright is a great hitter but not a Homerun hitter like some of these other guys. I think in a contest like this you gotta back someone with more power. I think Howard or Ortiz will take this one. But I will be rooting for Wright even though I dont think he has a good shot. | |

you say that tejada doesnt do well in these...correct me if im wrong but i believe he was the homerun derby champ or close to it like two years ago. | |

I guess you are right, he won in 2004. He got 4th in the first round and beat berkman by one in the final. Forgettable I guess lol. Still going with Howard though. | |

I got to like Howard I know he play in the "band box" in South Philadelphia but PNC is not much better and with the high humdity tonight his shots should go far
