only 3-3 yesterday but still plus units, so i will take it. this not actually placing money on these is really working. i know many of you will say start putting money on these now that you are winning but i am not. i have already lost my limit for the season. god knows anybody who played my picks this year has lost money because of me, so i hope they can get some of it back now. my next real bet will be on football. (GO DOLPHINS!!)
cincinnati +128 vs atlanta (3 units)..............i lost with cincy last night, but i am coming right back with them tonight. braves starting to play some decent ball right now, but their bullpen is going to cost them many more games. reds still have a winning record on the road, while the braves have a losing record at home. with all that considered i just cannot passup the reds as a dog vs this braves team.
st louis +112 vs houston (3 units)............i know the cards are struggling, but they have too much talent and offense to keep on losing. the astros always seem to struggle to score runs, so the cards should not need many. this is another real solid dog tonight.
i am almost tempted to put money on the above two plays, but i am sticking to my guns and not betting.
tampa bay +1.5 (-123) vs yankees (2 units)..............i am just not afraid of the yankees, especially on the road. this tampa bay team can score some runs. i think tampa has a real good shot at winning this game, but i have a strange feeling the yanks win by one run, so i am taking the runline.
colorado -131 vs arizona (2 units)..........arizona is the only team that is not in reach of the division right now, actually they are only 5 out, but that seems like alot with everybody else within one game of each other. rockies are playing good ball right now, while zona has struggled after a good start this year. i think this line is just too low for being at colorado. it is worth a shot.
dodgers -101 vs san fran (1 unit)..............i just do no think that the giants are a very good team this year. i am surprised they are still in the nl west race. i hate barry bonds. that does not have anything to do with my pick, i just thought i would say it. morris pitching is the reason why the dodgers are not a decent sized favorite in this game. i just see alot of value in this one as well.
phillies -160 vs pittsburgh (1 unit)..............ok, i am betting with my heart now. my phillies have really struggled. that is because most of their pitching staff has been hurt this year. we get lieber back tonight. i am hoping he has a good start and gives then the shot in the arm they need. people seem to forget that lieber is supposed to be the ace of our staff. of course it helps that the pirates are by far the worst road team in baseball. i was going to make this a larger play, but the bucos always seem to give the phillies fits.
i will miss all the early afternoon games on saturday, should be home for the 4:00 games and night games.
