Greeting to all,
Took the day off, had a Dr's appointment. Just my annual Heart check (stress test and eco exam). Thank God everything came out OK. Well don't want to bore you, let's go to the business at hand.
Blue Jays vs Royals (Under 10 runs)
I think we are going to be hard pressed to get 11 runs out of this one as Toronto is only .235 against lefties and get this......are only averaging 2.87 runs a game against south paws. Ty Taubenheim, RHP (1-4, 3.98) enters into this tilt against the KC Royals off his best start of his short mlb career last time out pitching 5 shut out innings allowing just 2 hits! The kid has been a stable presence in the Jays rotation and is becoming more at ease as his work load increases! His KC pitching opponent Mark Redman(5-4,5.59 ERA) has also been in stable form this season, and has had success against the Blue Jays in the past as his 3-0 record and stingy 2.08 ERA in this series would indicate!
Final notes: The Jays have only scored an average 4.3 RPG on a natural surface this season. KC has scored an average of just 4.2 RPG against righties like Taubenheim in 2006!
The only draw back to this game is the bull pens. Let's hope the starters have a good night tonight!
Comments, complaints, ect. always welcomed.
GREAT LUCK TO ALL TONIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
