Halladay is off to another great start. He's 4-1 and his team is 5-1 (2-0 away) in his 6 outings. The Toronto righty owns a lifetime 3.90 ERA against TB and an even better 3.00 ERA in 5 starts at Tropicana Field.
Diamondbacks +125 (ML) vs Cards
Marquis opened the season with three straight wins, allowing six runs, 15 hits and four walks in 19 1-3 innings, but has since lost his last four starts. He has given up 22 earned runs, 33 hits and 13 walks in 22 2-3 innings during his losing streak as opponents are batting .355 against him. The seven-year veteran is 0-2 with a 2.93 ERA in four career starts against Arizona. Vargas on the other hand is a different story. Vargas (4-2, 3.77 ERA), who will make his seventh start of the season, has yet to allow a run on the road. He is 2-0 in two road starts, allowing six hits in 13 innings in wins over Milwaukee and San Diego. He has won his last three decisions, allowing two earned runs in 19 innings in those starts, and has never won four straight games in his four-year career.
