Default wednesday bases

4-2 (+2.84 units) tuesday
63-69 (-23.05 units) overall

I can't believe how many times when I am in a losing streak that a make an ultimatum that I must win or I take a break, and I end up winning. Wish I could do that every night. That Met comeback would have been great, would have won almost 10 units instead of what I did, but I will take a winning night for a change no matter how small it is.

mets -112 vs phillies (3 units)............I said going into this series that there is no way the phils beat pedro and glavine in these first two games. Now technically they did not beat pedro last night, but they won the game. Even though I lost my bet, what a great game it was. On a side note, I just subscribed to mlbtv.com and I am very impressed with it. First game I watched on it was the phils/mets last night. Anyway, Glavine (4-2, 1.94) has been very impressive this year so far and he has always given the phils a hard time. That philly winning streak has to end sometime, and as much as my heart says take the phils, my wallet says take the mets.

arizona -148 vs pittsburgh (3 units)..............break up the pirates, they have won one in a row. bucs have trouble scoring and going against Webb (5-0, 2.05) will not help. pirates are not as bad as people think at home as they are 7-7, but they still suck. huge pitching advantage for arizona in this one.

st louis -154 vs colorado (2 units).........I am not that impressed with the rockies, they are much better than I thought they would be this year, especially on the road, but sometimes it is easy to put too much thought into a game. better team, playing at home and not too bad a price to get the cards at home. i will take it.

atlanta -139 vs florida...........only thing florida has going for them is playing at home and they get horrible crowds down there now, usually under 10,000, so it cannot be much of an advantage. i think it is the braves turn to get hot and make a move. i think the nl east will be between the mets, phils and braves and it is the braves turn to heat up.

san fran +109 vs cubs (1 unit)..............cubs have the pitching advantage tonight and that is all. it will take a great effort for the cubs pitcher for them to win this game, cubs offense is really bad right now. giants just glad to be playing in front of fans who don't boo right now.

over 9 (-103) boston/yankees (1 unit)............same theory as last night, two great pitchers, should be a pitchers dual, but it won't be.

good luck everybody!! I need another winning night to keep it going. The wallet is getting pretty thin right now.
