Braves and Mets
This series continues and it would seem like the Braves do not have the mets number like they used to, so will it continue today?
I do think the under will prevail after the total soared over last night and here are some of the reasons:
Hudson has pitched well in his last couple of outings to include shutting out the Rox last start going 9 giving up just one hit. In fact his last four starts he has just yielded 9 runs. Against the Mets the Braves have won five straight and four of those have gone under and he has only given up more than 2 runs once in those starts.
Zambrano got roughed up in his last start(against the Brves), but against the Braves the under has cashed four straight.
Marsh is behind the plate and he has seen the over go 5-1 in his 6 games this year but against these teams it is a different story. The under is 6-4 in his last ten against the Braves and 2 out of 3 with Hudson. The under is 6-3-1 with the Mets in his last ten and 1-0-1 with Zambrano.
the wind will also be blowing in today at shea.
In the other game the jays play the angels.
The play here is the angels. Escobar has pitched great against the Jays and Lilly gets beat up in his recent games against teh Halos and Lilly is not a day game pitcher. The jays pen is also looking horrid of late with a huge ERA and will not be any relief for the Jays and Lilly.
