| 5 inning plays only
i'm gonna get my btb season underway with a couple of 5 inning line plays. this is my rookie debut in mlb capping so i have been sitting back for the first part of the season. i have tried both a variety of different formulas with my picks and analyzed the vets on this site to attempt my bases capping off on the right foot.
for me personally i have had more success during my trials with 5 inning lines rather than game lines so that is most likely the only plays i will post for now. for anyone interested i will post my win/loss ratio with units won/loss during my trialling era(not real cash plays just my trials only.)
this includes all plays. i did not separate my game lines/5 inning lines. i should have:
dogs-115: 36-41 -1.24 unit
116-130: 17-21 -8.94 units
131+ 33-15 +11.55 units
overs: 4-6 -2.7 units
unders: 30-30 -3.75 units
total of -5.08. nothing to be too happy about. but still learning. gl to all

saturday:
pirates+140 i like the price on the bucs here as it should be low scoring and competive early.
cards-.5 +115 cook is 0-4 with a 6.63 era in 6 career outings vs the cards. stl bats should be hot early to get this w.

nice winner last night although billingsly was shaky in 1st. reds would have been winner as well if the books were open at time i needed to place.
wednesday:
braves-.5 -145 morton gets the call back to the bigs to face none other than his former team in atlanta. dont expect him to have the lead through 5 especially facing jurrjens.
dodgers-.5 -145 kershaw has been great at home and has also shut down the padres twice this season giving up 1 ER in the two outtings.
astros-106 rodriguez has been solid this season and is looking to bounce back from worst outting of the year his last time out. also the astros bats will be looking to get back on track after getting embarrassed last night by lilly.

took a 0-3 hit yesterday when a)morton only went one inning, b) the padres hit the dodgers ace early for the second straight night, and c)zambrano was smokin early. hoping to rebound today...
thursday:
royals-138 you'll prob see a lot of me playing this kc ace
rays-.5 -105 santana has been horrible for angels this season. he is coming off a spectacular outting so expect a letdown.

nice 2-0 rebound yesterday with greinke banking the 5 inning win before kc drop game late and the rays pounding santana as predicted. on to interleague play today. gl everyone
friday:
jays-.5 -150 halladay the ace vs nolasco, who is coming off a very good outting. he will have to step it up even more against a very good hitting on the road. do not expect a repeat performance of nolasco's last outting.
rays-.5 -155 going with the rays again hoping the can keep the hitting momentum going vs a struggling pitcher on a bad team.
