Default monday bases

Favorites (45-39)(-4.06 units)
Underdogs (34-40)(+1.04 units)
Moneyline Parlays (11-14)(+1.90 units)

For The Season (90-93)(-1.12 units)

Guess my little mini winning streak is over. I have now lost three days in a row, although last night was not horrible like the past two. I went 3-4 dropping a little less than a unit. For the exception of about a half week when I was picking winners I really feel like I have just been horrible, yet I am only down 1.12 units. Part of that is that all my plays are just for one unit. I won’t get rich doing that, but I won’t go broke either.

I think I might be looking too much at playing dogs and favorites instead of just playing who I like. I need to go back to just playing who I like and not play any single bets the are favs over -150. Any of those I usually put together in a moneyline parlay. Sorry for rambling. I am frustrated after this past weekend.

Monday Bases

Moneyline Parlay risking 1 unit to win 1.57 units.

Mets over Washington
Cubs over San Diego

Why not? Washington is clearly the worst team in the NL East this year and the game is in New York. San Diego really struggling past few weeks and Cubs have Zambrano who usually pitches well vs the Pads.

One unit single bets.

Florida +153 vs Cincinnati………..Another why not game. The Marlins continue to surprise everybody and just keep on winning. Nobody mentioned Florida at the start of the season with the Mets/Phillies and Braves. Why not take the hot team as this big a dog? I am.

Houston -140 vs San Fran…………I have read in forums where people are taking the Giants in this one. They are saying Zito is coming around. That is funny. For the past two weeks all I have read is that this guy should not even being throwing in the major league. I don’t know if it is that bad, but he has lost just about everything he used to have. He is not the same pitcher. Why do you think this line is -140? When could you have ever got Zito has a home dog, especially at this price. There is a reason the Astros are this big tonight.

Atlanta -134 vs Pittsburgh (game one)……………Bucs playing pretty decent lately, but Braves bats are due to bust loose. I think today is the day. I don’t think Zach Duke is anywhere near as good as he was his rookie year. I think he gets pounded today.

Atlanta -159 vs Pittsburgh (game two)…………I don’t play single favs this big, but this is an exception. THIS IS ALSO ONLY A PLAY IF ATLANTA LOSES GAME ONE, OTHERWISE IT IS A NO PLAY. Self explanatory. I just don’t see the Pirates sweeping Atlanta. I guess it could happen, but I just don’t see it.

St Louis -113 vs Milwaukee……………..Cards due to win a few. It scares me being at Milwaukee, but I think Cards have huge pitching advantage with Wainright at 3-1, 2.25 era vs Bush who is 0-4, 6.98 era. Brewers bullpen has been pretty bad as well.

Yankees -112 vs Tampa Bay……………Tampa Bay has become the team everybody is rooting for. They don’t suck for a change and people love to root for underdogs…especially against the hated Yanks. I think the Yankees being favored in this game tells the story. It might be because of Pettittes 14-3 career record vs Tampa Bay. I will try it.

Went a little crazy again today, but I like them, so I am playing them. Today is my day off and I have a little extra time.

Good Luck Everybody!!
